This one explains the start of the Body Farm. I am reading the series in the order in which they were written, even though in most lists, this is given as number one. I am glad I read them in date order instead. This might be the beginning but it still brings elements from previously written books. Another exciting mystery with lots of scientific explanations of forensic evidence gathering.

a prequel to the Body Farm stories, which I didn't realize when I started to read this story. Interesting in how the Body Farm was started, and Dr Bill Brockton's beginning as a forensic investigator.

Jefferson Bass, duo authors produce well-written, suspenseful mysteries.. This time, unfortunately, they have also written from the murderer's point of view, which I really didn't like nor cared for. I wish they didn't do this; it turned my stomach, so I skipped through those parts.. That's my opinion; other people might feel differently.. I do recommend the mysteries written by Jefferson Bass..
