What foreigners can look forward to here -- if we haven't already bombed them in their native land, or helped our ally do it. High point: anti-Bush isn't anti-American.

This film chronicles the experiences of a legal Lebanese immigrant who arrived on the East Coast the day prior to 9/11. He happened to have the same last name as one of the 9/11 pilots. He is quickly ushered into a “black-site” where he spends his first six months with an unspecified intelligence unit that interrogates him daily to try to get him to “confess” to a role in the 9/11 plotting. When they let him out, he then endures frequent anti-Middle-Eastern discrimination, but luckily for him, not all Americans had bought into the right-wing philosophy that the only good Muslim is a dead Muslim.

Welcome to America, go home now! Not a bad flick, marginal acting and a little hokey, but thought provoking in places (especially when he responds to the cross examination).

Relatively light-hearted tale of an exceedingly kind Lebanese man who immigrated to the USA, arriving in NYC the day before September 11, 2001.

Outstanding. Would have been amazing if it had been based on one person's actual true story, but things have been perfected for the sake of cinema. Worth watching.

A man from Lebanon landed in NYC to pursue his American dream, fighting various obstacles in the post-9/11 time. The intention of the film is good, but the execution is so-so and the plot is not very credible.

A very interesting story from first appearance, not well executed.
Three major flaws in this movie: Overly melodramatic, predictable throughout and acting so bad at points, it made me cringe.
