Great intro. of the foundation of AA. A must view to all in the program. Both James Woods & James Garner were perfect for the leading roles. FYI, James Woods's royalties are used to buy the book titled "Alcoholics Anonymous" and donated to prisons and treatment facilities.

A revised history of A.A. that leaves out unconvient details,.. such as Bill's spiritual awakening, the role of a 'Higher Power', the 12 Steps, etc., etc. "Just two drunks trying to help each other". They can't very well talk about individuals having a personal non-church relationship with God on American Television !!

This is a very well done movie about the founders of AA. Incredible acting by James Wood & a good reminder for an alcoholic contemplating a return to drinking.
