Add a CommentAfter Eden, Havah’s petulance and Adam’s aloofness became a bit much for me, and as I didn’t exactly warm to any of the other characters during the often bleak events, I didn’t enjoy the read as much as I would’ve liked.
Still, I can’t dismiss the value or impeccability of the read, and I’d certainly recommend it to readers with questioning minds and an appreciation for lyrical literature.
This book touched me deeply. It's truths of a well imagined Eden ring true to human nature, and scripture. I often think about the characters and the interplay of personalities.
What a beautifully written story of Adam and Eve, from Eve's perspective. This book is poetic, a triumphant and tragic read. It flows so easily you will not want to put it down! Tosca Lee is one of my favorite authors!
sounds intriguing... similar to lineage of grace by francine rivers?? gotta love christian fiction!!!(:
