Every parent wants their child to be successful but we don’t always know how to talk about money in ways that will give them the very best chances. Kobliner’s book walks us through simple ways to talk to children about money including saving, spending, debt, insurance, investing, giving and more. Each chapter is broken down into age appropriate talking points and ideas from preschool through to young adult. Imagine talking about investing with your preschooler? Kobliner frames such conversations in a way that makes them natural and possible no matter your money knowledge or experience. Ultimately her book is about forming good money habits at any age - you might even learn a few useful things yourself! While some of the financial products she describes are American they can be easily translated into the Canadian context.

Kobliner is able to turn (what is to some of us) the mystifying world of money into something easy to understand. Her style and suggestions are very practical and can give you the confidence you need to guide your child in money matters no matter their age.
