Publishers Weekly certainly got their description correct:
"The high-profile Beschloss . . . ."
He's certainly NO presidential scholar, whether or not his wife possesses a checkered financial past [now why doesn't her bio material ever mention that she was at the Carlyle Group - - in between the World Bank, where funds were invested to Carlyle, then afterwards at her own hedge fund startup?] - - Beschloss quite wrongly claims that Sen. Bobby Kennedy would never have won the 1968 election, when surveys strongly favored him as the front-runner after his primary win in California, just before his assassination.

Review of situations and decisions facing two centuries of presidents. Unfortunately, it reads like a People magazine stringing together tidbits and almost gossips without solid historical context.

It's tough at the top but doing the right thing is tougher. Great book about leaders and the tough choices they were faced with and why they made them.
