"Is all that we see or seem but a dream within a dream?" Mulholland Drive has a lot going for it; for example, the only realistic depiction of a nightmare I have ever seen on film. It's not for everyone, but if you can go with the flow of this surrealistic depiction of the Hollywood dream factory, you will have a memorable experience.

Excellent film that makes tremendous use of dream/nightmare states in a skillful way - incorporating it into the very fabric of the narrative . It's also a damning look at the entertainment industry in Los Angeles- I'd go so far as to claim it as one of David Lynch's masterpieces. You'll need to watch this more than once to begin to appreciate it's complexity and mystery.

A masterpiece of neo-noir. My favorite movie. Nothing else comes close -- in any genre

Lacerating look at the cesspool known as Hollywood- filmed with style, originality, and genius- three things missing from most Hollywood " product ". Watch it.

Mesmerizing film by David Lynch- truly one of his best. I would recommend watching this film more than once to better appreciate what is going on in the film.

Excellent movie! People don't get what they're expecting from this film and it frustrates and disappoints them. Perhaps that's the point? Perhaps the story isn't what you originally thought it was. It can be difficult when details don't all contribute to the main story line. There are a lot of ways to read this one, and it sticks with you. Good luck trying to "figure it out." Just enjoy the ride.
