My goodness--Little Ricky on the drums! Blew me away every time.

Although I saw some of these episodes as a kid, the full understanding that the characters have moved to the country is new to me. Not sure how I feel about them all being away from the good ol' apartment building and the city.

But I still got a kick out of a lot of it, especially Lucy doing the tango with those hidden eggs and Lucy on the lawnmower. The lawnmower fiasco really gave me a "Lucy Carmichael from The Lucy Show" kind of impression.

I gave this 3 and a half stars because I liked the new set, the 'Connecticut set.' however, the person who gave this only a half star has a point if he or she just got tired of the same old formula, played out in every episode of this series. "the trip to Hollywood" was refreshing because of the guest stars ( most particularly Harpo Marx).

In this 6th season of TV's "I Love Lucy" - Not only does Lucy meet Superman, but the entire Ricardo family (along with the Mertzes) move to rural Connecticut where Lucy, once again, stirs up all sorts of comic-trouble much to the delight of her many fans.

And if you ask me - I'd say that for anyone to give this TV series a half-star rating - That person would have to be totally black-hearted and totally incapable of knowing how to laugh. In other words - That would totally describe a certain someone whom I'm totally trying not to think of right now.
