A very interesting approach to the subject of war. In simple verse-like sentences Walker describes the beauty of this world, it' s people and animals and juxtaposes this beauty against the practice of war. Humanity's unity and interconnection with the environment is illustrated as war poisons the water we all share and are comprised of and must all drink together. Some of the aphorisms are easily remembered. My favorite is: "Though War speaks Every language It never knows What to say To frogs."
