One of the major points of the Library Bill of Rights is that parents are responsible for what their children read. It is the goal of public libraries to provide materials for the entire community, including different points of view. This is a children's book that many parents will want to share with their families. Children are perfectly capable of choosing their own reading materials. It's the parent's responsibility to have a conversation with the child in order to let them know what is acceptable.
