It was a long time coming for this latest from Rick Mofina, a superb Canadian author. His last two were disappointing, being repetitive, and all about harried and stressed-out newspaper reporters with kids, who work for idiots . This one was much better, and gets back to the style of some of Mofina's great earlier works. I dropped it a star because at 533 pages, its a bit long and drawn out, with lots of twists and turns. There is a bit too much repetition of similar interviews with different suspects, etc. which seems like filler, and the ending is a bit anti-climatic.
